The winery is located in a unique space, an old palace from the mid-16th century. The French and American oak barrels are kept at constant temperature and humidity throughout the year.
For more than 100 years, the Alonso Cuesta family has been dedicated to the world of wine where work, effort and love for the vineyard come together to produce original and high quality wines.

The first winery was created in 1920 in La Torre de Esteban Hambrán, a small town located in the northwest of the province of Toledo. It is located in an old house-palace built in the 16th century by D. Diego de Vargas, minister of King Felipe II.
In the 50s, the father of the current owners, José María, built a winery that has lasted since 2000, the year in which the children decided to modernize the facilities with the most advanced techniques, but with a deep respect for tradition and natural products.

It belongs to the DO Mentrida. Méntrida is a designation of origin whose production area is in the north of the province of Toledo. Irrigated by the Alberche River, it includes 51 municipalities with the center of the denomination, the town of Méntrida, and the town of Fuensalida as its headquarters.
