Sensations of the wine Baron de Ley Varietal Tempranillo

It came very soft and pleasant to drink with a long finish.

The Baron de Ley winery

In Barón de Ley, the harvest is done manually, not only in order to pamper every grape cluster, but also to value our greatest asset: the vineyard. As is logical, the fact of having the grape "at the foot of the cellar" contributes very specially to the quality of the wines, by reducing to the maximum the times of entry of the grapes to the winery during the harvest, thus avoiding unwanted fermentations during transport.
This great advantage has allowed us, in addition, the implementation over the years of an ambitious policy of manual selection of grapes. For more than a decade, the production of grapes from our best farms has been harvested in boxes with a capacity of 300 kilos and transported to our two selection tables in the cellar. There, each and every one of the bunches are visually inspected, discarding those that are not in perfect conditions and resulting in a "selection of the selection of our best farms" ... grapes of the most extraordinary quality.

Denomination of Origin of Baron de Ley

It belongs to the DO Rioja, a name that dates from the late nineteenth century, but is not officially formed until 1925. The area that receives this designation of origin covers the autonomous communities of Rioja and the Basque Country.
The grapes produced in this denomination are: Tempranillo, Garnacha tinta, Mazuelo, Graciano and Maturana tinta.
The wines of this denomination are characterized for being fresh, aromatic wines, with an excellent ship and above all they are very balanced wines.
