The Mustiguillo winery

Mustiguillo is a family winery, founded in 1999, which practices natural viticulture while respecting the characteristics of its soils as much as possible. Likewise, they work in a pioneering way to lead the rebirth of the native varieties Bobal and Merseguera.
The terrain is sandy-loam on a calcareous crust. In their commitment to the rebirth of the native Bobal grape, they combine traditional glass and rainfed viticulture with the most modern vine management practices. An integrated agriculture, the wines being made only with their own grapes.

Denomination of origin of Mestizaje Blanco

The production area of ??the wines covered by the paid wine El Terrerazo is located about 6.8 km from the town of Utiel, in the interior of the province of Valencia, equidistant from the Mediterranean Sea and the city of Teruel, characterized by its extreme and harsh weather. Therefore, we find a Mediterranean-influenced climate with sunny days in a normally rainy spring. Summer is dry and very hot, very sunny in the middle of the day, with a notable increase in the daytime temperature (maximum average temperature of 28ºC in July and 31ºC in August). The nights are very cool and pleasant. Winter has continental tints, with very cold days and an almost constant wind from Aragon. This is confirmed by the –1.3ºC and –1ºC of average minimum temperatures for January and February.
