Special characteristics of the wine:

Elaboration of Viña Monty Graciano

The grapes come from two different vineyards. One of them is in Cenicero, in Rioja Alta, at an altitude of 440 meters and with calcareous soil. And the other, in Rioja Oriental, near the Ebro River meander, at 360 meters above sea level, where the climate is much more Mediterranean compared to Rioja Alta and the soils are much more clayey.

What type of wine is Viña Monty Graciano

Aging for 30 months in new extra-fine grain French oak barrels and a minimum of 16 months in the bottle.

The Orborne Winery

The history of Osborne dates back to the end of the 18th century, when a young English merchant named Thomas Osborne Mann arrived in Cadiz to market the wines of the area. He soon began doing business in Puerto de Santa María and it was in this town that he founded his own winery which, more than 200 years later, would become the great business group it is today, of international fame and recognition.

Designation of Origin of Viña Monty Graciano

It belongs to the DO Rioja, a denomination that dates back to the end of the 19th century, but which was not officially formed until 1925.
The area that hosts this denomination of origin covers the autonomous communities of Rioja and the Basque Country.
The grapes produced in this denomination are: Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, Graciano and Maturana.
