Preparation of Xado Blanco wine

Artisanal production of this wine, fruit of the 100% Garnacha Blanca variety, it has been fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on its fine lees for 4 months.
Static settling and fermentation in small stainless steel tanks. Aging with its fine lees, weekly battonage. Clarification with bentonite and filtering before bottling.

Our philosophy is based on respect for this ancient portion of land, preserving its fertility through organic fertilizers and plant covers, also making use of respectful alliances with the native flora and fauna, and always avoiding the use of herbicides or insecticides.
Following the premise that good wine is made in the vineyard, and combining the aforementioned respect for nature with certain techniques and with our wisdom and intuition, we can capture the essence of this land in our wines, which are indispensable companions in the perfect pairing with the gastronomy of Matarraña. A wine made with the purpose of expressing the authentic emotion and true character of the place.

Denomination of origin of Xado Blanco wine

The vineyards of "Vino de la Tierra del Bajo Aragón" occupy a large area of ??the region where the orography, the acidity of the land and the climate make our Reds, Rosés and Whites, are of high quality and highly appreciated by consumers. .
The wines produced in our wineries maintain the qualities of color, aroma and flavor of the wine that was produced centuries ago in this territory.
They retain all the characteristics of their places of origin and are produced in areas with a long wine-growing tradition and recognized prestige beyond our borders.
During the production of our wines, only authorized strain varieties perfectly adapted to the terrain are used: Cabernet-Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Derechero, Garnacha Blanca, Garnacha Tinta, Macabeo, Mazuela, Merlot, Syrah and Tempranillo.

Grape varieties used in Xado Blanco 

Variety: White Grenache 90%, 10% White Sauvignon
Mas de Torubio Estate, Matarraña. Cultivated at an altitude of 580m and in clay-calcareous soils. The age of the vineyard White Grenache 18 years and White Sauvignon 10 years.
The harvest is done manually and in 15kg boxes.
