Bodegas Asenjo & Manso (Ceres) is located in La Horra, long tradition wine village in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. Their ancestors were born here, as Theophilus Asenjo; man passionate about the land that has always lived with love and dedication for the vineyards. There were hard times full of adversities, despite which Theophilus refused to boot the vines in the vineyard and persevering in the way of life that I ultimately led; passion inherited. From its nearly century-old vineyards, born in 2004, the project of Bodegas Asenjo & Manso at the crossroads of past, present and future. His way of understanding life, to love the vineyard and wine making a lifestyle, its wines. The variety grown is the Tempranillo, indigenous to the area. They have an area of ??40 hectares of vineyards, with a length of between 10 and 100 years. It grows on a clay soil and planting in glass. The vineyard is carefully treated without the use of chemicals or herbicides and natural fertilizers are used only when required vine. All the vineyards are treated with the same philosophy for each of the wines: Ceres, Eros, Silvanus and A & M. They believe in the future of wine and the future of traditional agriculture as did their grandparents, listening to the vine; aportándola what you need, and not vice versa.
