Wines of the DO El Terrerazo
They are 126.63 Has. around the winery, structured in a single payment. The average height of El Terrerazo is 850 meters and the climate is strictly continental, with low rainfall and large thermal differences, which is why they constitute a unique environment that is transferred to the wines.
The production area of ??the wines covered by the paid wine El Terrerazo is located about 6.8 km from the town of Utiel, in the interior of the province of Valencia, equidistant from the Mediterranean Sea and the city of Teruel, characterized by its extreme and harsh weather. Therefore, we find a Mediterranean-influenced climate with sunny days in a normally rainy spring. Summer is dry and very hot, very sunny in the middle of the day, with a notable increase in the daytime temperature (maximum average temperature of 28ºC in July and 31ºC in August). The nights are very cool and pleasant. Winter has continental tints, with very cold days and an almost constant wind from Aragon. This is confirmed by the –1.3ºC and –1ºC of average minimum temperatures for January and February.
