White wines with Rueda Denomination of Origin must contain at least 50% Verdejo grapes (the rest is usually Sauvignon Blanc or Macabeo - called Viura-). Wines that include the word Verdejo in their labeling must contain at least 85% Verdejo grapes (and usually contain up to 100% of it)
