Special characteristics of the wine:
The six years of aging in rhymes give it a high golden color and a wonderful structure on the palate, as well as an enveloping silky texture with a long and bitter finish typical of the Conca del Riu Anoia wines. Manuel Raventós reinvents the blend of the 2012 vintage. After making two consecutive vintages (2011, 2012) with a single Xarel·lo blend. Manuel Raventós stands out with a blend of native varieties of contrasts, the white variety Xarel·lo (40%) and the new addition of the red variety Sumoll (60%).
For lovers of fresh wines, with acidity, structure and volume, tense in the mouth, fine bubbles and toasted aromas and butter. Gold color. A sparkling wine that, due to its exceptional character, is bottled only in the most special vintages.
The personality and style of our sparkling wines are determined by our soil, the autochthonous varieties and the biodynamic viticulture, which favors the biodiversity, energy and life of the estate to the maximum. It is our soils of marine origin that give our wines more typicality, giving them saline and mineral notes that make them different from sparkling wines from other terroirs in the world.
DO. Conca del Riu Anoia is the name of a geographical area with some common characteristics: an ancient wine-growing history; geological history of soil formation; autochthonous varieties; climate of the eastern Penedés. Sincere wines fruit of a farm, of soils, a climate and local grapes.
Uses the grape varieties: - 40% Xarel·lo and 60% Sumoll
Biodynamic viticulture. Vineyards with spontaneous plant covers, which give biodiversity, fertility and life to the soil. We provide manure from our animals, composted in winter. We do the short pruning in glass. Use of herbal infusions as herbal medicine to minimize the use of copper and sulfur. Control of lobesia botrana due to sexual confusion.
