Bodega San Gregorio was founded in 1965 in Cervera de la Cañada and belongs to the Denomination of Origin Calatayud. It is in this territory, located in the foothills of the Iberian System, where we select the best grapes from the Ribota and Manubles valleys, the westernmost area of ??the appellation. We have 700 hectares of crops located in the surroundings of Cervera, surrounding the Sierra de Armantes.
The D.O.P. Calatayud is located in the westernmost part of the province of Zaragoza, 87 kilometers from Zaragoza and only 1 hour from Madrid by AVE.
The D.O.P. Calatayud is located within the Community of Calatayud Region belonging to the province of Zaragoza and bordering the provinces of Soria, Guadalajara and Teruel.
Variety: Garnacha and Tempranillo
The soils in which our vineyards grow are predominantly clay-calcareous, with different content of stony material. The different edaphic components vary depending on the location, providing differentiating characteristics to the grapes that grow in each plot.
