Bodegas Care was born in the year 2000 as a modern family project focused on the quality of grapes and wine. With 150 hectares and 4,000 m2 of cellar built for its vinification, it intends to lead an area with a great legacy. CARE is its brand, and it aims to be the New Face of wine in Aragon.

The Cariñena denomination of origin wine presents an exceptional geographical situation for its vineyards, since it is located in the connecting part of the Ebro Valley with Levante, as well as in the middle of the north-south route that structures the Aragonese territory. Choosing to buy Cariñena wine assures us that we are choosing well, it assures us that we are betting on vineyards with exclusive characteristics. One way to name these wines is to call them; DO Cariñena the wine of the stones.
Cariñena is located in the Ebro Valley, with an extension of land of 14,388 hectares of vineyards. Being an interior territory, the climate of the area is defined as medium temperate, so that the winters are cold and the summers very hot. The Cariñena field is an area specially equipped for the production of red and rosé wines, as well as natural sweet wines. A meal with friends or a family celebration will be complete if we add a Cariñena wine.
Grape variety used in Care Finca Marimú
100% Cariñena grapes from old vines (over 50 years old) from the Finca Marimú vineyard.
The vineyards are between 900 and 500 meters; that the cold, dry north wind slows down the ripening of the grapes, and that the soils on which the vines age are rocky and not very productive.
