A very easy wine to drink and very hard to forget.
All his productions are limited, and his wines being modern wines do not leave aside his traditional roots. The result is opulent, sensual and easily recognizable wines.
After a meticulous selection in the winery, the grapes are transferred by gravity to 12,000 kilogram deposits, separating the batches by varieties, farms and production areas. The alcoholic fermentation, with native yeasts and subsequent maceration, lasts 2 to 3 weeks.

The Mauro winery
Coming from the winery of the same name (Bodegas Mauro), it is characterized by the production of balanced wines with a very pronounced touch of personality of the manufacturer.
The winery was founded in 1978 on a seventeenth century mansion, with an underground cellar where it houses the aging and bottling ships of Mauro wines since 1980.
Its vineyards, where its syrah and tempranillo grapes are produced, are of calcareous and light soil.
Its storage barrels are 75% French oak and 25% American oak. The period of stay of the wine in these barrels depends on the type of wine and the characteristics of the vintage.
Denomination of Origin VT Castilla León
It comes from the DO VT of Castilla y Leon. It is located in Tudela de Duero (Valladolid), in the heart of the Douro river valley.
The cultivation area is 70 hectares, with a yield per hectare of about 4,000 kilos.
