Bodegas Balbás wines are characterized by coming from small productions and by careful production in which we combine the most innovative techniques with artisanal practices transmitted by the family since 1777 from generation to generation.

This is how we create wines with a marked personality, unique, deep and intense. At Bodegas Balbás we make wines with their own personality, adapted to each time, to each taste; because it is what we know how to do, what we have done for 7 generations.

In 1777 the legacy of our family begins, linked to the terroir and the vine for almost 250 years. Abundio Balbás, the great-great-grandfather, made wine for his own consumption with grapes from his land, which he transported in “boots” made from animal skin.
