The Tio Pepe winery

The Tio Pepe winery belongs to the González Byass group.
In 1835, a young man named Manuel María González Ángel arrived in Jerez, intending to make a name for himself in the prosperous and lucrative Jerez wine business. Encouraged by the steady growth of exports, that same year he bought a small winery and began producing and exporting his own wines. This was the beginning of Bodegas Tío Pepe, which, due to the growing success of the company, became the González Byass company soon after.
Today, Bodegas Tío Pepe is known throughout the world as one of the main producers of Jerez wine and Brandy del Marco de Jerez.

Denomination of Origin of Croft Original wine

Jerez-Xérès-Sherry is the Spanish wine appellation of origin that legally protects the upbringing and marketing of a part of the wines traditionally called sherry.
On January 19, 1935, the first regulation of the denomination was published, which served as a model for other Spanish denominations that emerged later.
