The characteristic climate of the Denomination of Origin Jerez area is mainly warm and heavily influenced by Atlantic Ocean. These conditions favour an optimal development of the grapes until it matures and ready to harvest
Only wines from the area of “Crianza” have the right to a Jerez Denomination of Origin. Three types of grapes are present in Jerez: Palomino Fino, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel. It is here that we can find one of the true treasures of Andalusia: the Moscatel wine.
This type of wine originates from the Moscatel grape, which is matured and bathed in sun. From this grape, a dry and semisweet wine is obtained. Whether consumed during a dinner with friends or a weekend aperitif, a Jerez Denomination of Origin wine will always provide a touch of harmony and pleasure during those special moments.
