The Bardos winery

The Páramos of Burgos and Soria are the most surprising and at the same time unknown regions of Ribera, where the Bardos winery was born. Two plains at almost a thousand meters above sea level, where only the bravest know how to work the land in extreme conditions throughout the year. A place where the cold shrinks the bones, the wind cuts the flesh and the sun scorches the skin.

Bardos Reserva Denomination of Origin

Ribera del Duero, a denomination located in Castilla y León, along the Duero River. It occupies the provinces of Valladolid, Burgos, Segovia and Soria.

Variety of grapes used in the Bardos Reserva wine

Variety: Tinta del país (Tempranillo) and Cabernet Sauvignon
Old vineyards with low production. One vineyard that stands out is 60 years old, selected in the central part of the denomination in the Fuentemolinos area, and another adjacent, younger vineyard, about 20 years old, of Cabernet Sauvignon.
