Highlights aromas of red fruits with a touch of nuts (hazelnuts, roasted almonds), smoked, toffee and spices. In the mouth it highlights its soft and fruity attack. Wide and sweet step in the mouth, where we find toast, spices, cloves and a sweet and soft tannin that leaves a very pleasant aftertaste.

Elaboration of Laus Tinto Barrica wine

What type of wine is Laus Tinto Barrica
After the malolactic fermentation, the wine was assembled and subsequently rested in mixed oak barrels (staves of American oak and French oak bottoms) for five months, to achieve a balance between the fruit and the aromatic contribution of the wood.
LAUS Winery was founded in 2002. The winery is like an 'island in the Somontano', surrounded by water, vineyards, flowers, sun, air ... life. LAUS comes from Latin and means 'Praise, Praise, Consideration', a name that perfectly reflects the spirit of this Somontano winery.
The logo symbolizes the earth in the yi-king symbology and represents our essence, the territory, the soil on which our vineyard sits.

The vineyard land of the Somontano Designation of Origin has three distinct areas: the mountains, the Somontano and the plains. Its total area is 200,000 hectares, of which about 100,000 are cultivated. Of the latter, 4,400 hectares are dedicated exclusively to the vineyard.
Somontano wines have grape varieties from more than 4,400 hectares of plantation. They are the base from which their good Somontano wines are born: Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Syrah, Garnacha Tinta, Moristel, Parraleta, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc, Garnacha Blanca, Riesling or Alcañón are some of them .
Somontano is characterized by having cold winters and hot summers with significant temperature changes at the end of spring and autumn. The average annual temperature is 11 degrees Celsius.
