Description:
Buy online wine from Toro San Roman
San Román is a deep, powerful and elegant Toro wine. A wine with a long growth path in the bottle. San Román is a monovarietal of the variety Tinta de Toro, typical variety of D.O. Bull. The grape comes from different plots planted with old vines of 45 years of age at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level, with stony soils and sandy-clay. The climate is an extreme continental climate with very little rain, many hours of sunshine and strong thermal contrasts between day and night, which favors the correct ripening of the grape. Each plot is vinified separately. San Román performs an aging of 24 months in French and American oak barrels, barrels that are renewed by 20% with each vintage.
