The Venta D’Aubert winery
The “Venta d'Aubert” is located on the historic route that connects Tortosa, in the Mediterranean with Alcañiz and continues in the direction of Zaragoza. The "Sale d’Aubert" was probably the "Sale" of the Aubert.
In 1986 "Venta d’Aubert" was rediscovered and came back to life thanks to a Swiss couple. The estates were largely uncultivated at the time, there were plots with almond and olive trees, pastures and an old vineyard with white Gobelet-style Garnacha grapes. In 1986 new vineyards were planted with different grapes to make red and white wine.
In 1995 a new winery was built with all the technical facilities for a fully autonomous production and in 2001 it was expanded to meet new needs.
Denomination of origin of Venta D’Aubert Tinto
The V.T. del Bajo Aragón, is one of the regions with the longest tradition of winemaking in Spain.
It has ideal geographical and climatic conditions for the vine and is one of the largest. It brings together regions of Teruel such as Bajo Aragón, Maestrazgo and Matarraña, as well as the surroundings of the Zaragoza municipalities of Caspe, Mequinenza, Fabara and Maella, among others.
