Wines from the Alonso Cuesta winery
Wines from the Alonso Cuesta winery
For more than 100 years, the Alonso Cuesta family has been dedicated to the world of wine where work, effort and love for the vineyard come together to produce original and high quality wines.
Bodegas Alonso Cuesta is a family business, where a clear idea prevails, presenting to the market some wines that represent the philosophy of the family, dedication, work and affection, virtues that are reflected in the wines we make.
The first winery was created in 1920 in La Torre de Esteban Hambrán, a small town located in the northwest of the province of Toledo. It is located in an old palace-palace built in the sixteenth century by D. Diego de Vargas, minister of King Felipe II.
In the 50s, the father of the current owners, José María, built a winery that has lasted since 2000, the year in which the children decided to modernize the facilities with the most advanced techniques, but with a deep respect for tradition and natural products.
