Aradon was a town that existed since Roman times and that mysteriously disappeared.
Aradon was located on a plane at 550 m altitude called "La Mesa" currently occupied by vineyards up to 90 years old, owned by the winery.
The town of Aradon was located near several Roman roads and a Roman aqueduct from the 1st century AD, called “Puente Moros”.
Today and since 1957, in the town of Alcanadre, 36 km east of Logroño, the vine growers of Alcanadre want to pay tribute to Aradon, naming their wines made with grapes from very old vineyards, some of them centenary, which they grow with care and thanks to the knowledge acquired and transmitted generation after generation for centuries.
