The relationship between the Osborne Osborne family and the wine has its beginnings in the 18th century, in an unequaled setting such as the town of El Puerto de Santa María, located in the heart of the Bay of Cadiz and the hand of the Jerez wine . The headquarters of the company is still located in the palace house that the Osborne family preserves in that locality, and that is known like Hacienda El Pinar.
Initially the project begins with the search for a farm where they can produce red wines that express their soils very well and find it in the town of Pesquera de Duero (Valladolid), named "El Quiñón" and there is born the First winery, which is called "Viñas del Jaro", attached to the denomination of origin of Ribera del Duero. Shortly afterwards, "Bodegas y Viñedos de Cal Grau" was founded, in the denomination of origin of Priorato. In later years the project continues developing and betting on the red wines with personality of different Spanish areas and is also based in the denomination of origin Toro.
Today, Iberian Vineyard Company is present in addition to the D.O. Already indicated, in other areas of high Spanish prestige wines such as Rioja, Rueda, Cava-Penedés, Vino de la Tierra de Castilla, Rías Baixas, Castilla la Mancha (Moral de Calatrava) and O.D. Bierzo.
