Ebano Viñedos y Bodegas works in the selection of the grape from its 43 hectares of vineyard. With yields of approximately 2500 kgs per hectare in the vineyards and 4000 kgs hectare in those of trellis, together with the age of the vineyard, Ebano Vineyards and Bodegas obtain one of the best selections of the D.O. Ribera del Duero. For this, every day we take care of all the factors that will later influence the quality of the grape: leaf analysis, green pruning, clusters thinning and soil analysis to know and determine the needs of the strains. This selection finishes in a manual collection of the grape that is transported to cellar in boxes of 17 kilos thus obtaining optimum conditions for the grape. Once in warehouse a last and careful manual selection in tape is made before beginning its transformation. This makes the wines made by Ebano Vineyards and Wineries are potent and of marked personality.
