The history of El Lagar de Isilla winery and wines began in 1995. All began in the fifteenth century historic cellar located below the restaurant El Lagar de Isilla Aranda de Duero. There, 12 meters deep, Zapatero Pinto family, developed the first 50,000 bottles of wine today and is a reference to their annual production of 250,000 bottles.
