Tintilla de Rota

Tintilla de Rota grape wines
The tintilla is a variety native to the province of Cádiz, framed in the D.O. ‘VT Cádiz’. It is a red grape, as its name suggests. With a bunch and small berry, the fruit ripens late and is not very robust and sensitive to dry seasons. Its acidity is not accentuated by its high sugar content. Its production is small and was in serious risk of disappearing until its production was reinforced in the middle of the 20th century. A moment of enological crisis almost unimaginable for such a distinguished wine in the 18th and 19th centuries.
