Wine characteristics:
Fermentation according to the state of maturity of each variety. Macerates cold pre-fermentation at a temperature of 5ºC for 3 days in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation at 25ºC for 7 days. Selected yeasts for each variety.
Aged for 11 months in two / three-year French and American oak barrels.
It is a smooth and persistent wine that will not leave you indifferent.
It begins in 1821. The year 1827 represented a milestone in the winery and in the entire province of Cádiz. That year the name Manzanilla appeared for the first time.
Barbadillo is a 100% family winery and is one of the oldest family businesses in Spain.
Cádiz is a geographical indication used to designate the table wines of the Andalusian wine-growing region of Cádiz, which includes the municipalities of Arcos de la Frontera, Chiclana de la Frontera, Chipiona, El Puerto de Santa María, Jerez de la Frontera, Vejer de la Frontera, Prado del Rey, Puerto Real, Rota Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Olvera, Setenil, Villamartín, Bornos, Trebujena and San José del Valle, in the province of Cádiz, Spain.
Variety: Cabernet-Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Tintilla de Rota, Syrah and Tempranillo
Vineyard: Viñedos de Gibalbín.
To be served with traditional stews, wood-roasted meats, Iberian cured meats, game and cured cheeses.
