Winemaking12 Lunas Tinto
As they reach the optimum ripeness point, Tempranillo, Syrah, Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature between 25ºC and 29ºC. Subsequently macerations are carried out that last from 2 to 4 weeks according to variety, while the malolactic fermentation takes place. Once finished, the wines go to French oak barrels of 2nd and 3rd use of 225 liters capacity.

The vineyard terrain of the Somontano Designation of Origin has three distinct zones: the sierras, the Somontano and the plains. Its total area is 200,000 hectares of land of which about 100,000 are cultivated. Of the latter, 4,400 hectares are dedicated exclusively to the vineyard.
Somontano wines have grape varieties from more than 4,400 hectares of plantation.
