Special characteristics of the wine:
Elaboration La Miranda Secastilla Rosé
The bunches of "Pago La Miranda" were harvested manually in small boxes in impeccable condition in terms of health and maturity. Quickly, these bunches were destemmed, crushed and introduced into the maceration vat in the vineyard itself. Subsequently, the vat was transferred to the winery, where the precious free run juice was separated, the only one that was fermented to make this wine. After three rackings, the wine was placed in oak barrels where it remained for four months. Finally, the wine was filtered and bottled.
What kind of wine is La Miranda Secastilla Rosado

Viñas del Vero offers a wide range of quality wines thanks to the dedication and care with which we work throughout the production process, from the vine to the glass.
Currently, Viñas de Vero is the first winery in the Somontano denomination in terms of volume and quality of production. The company has one of the largest areas of its own vineyard in Spain, and is one of the reference wineries both for its technology and for the style of its wines.
Designation of Origin of La Miranda Secastilla Rosé
From the DO Somontano, the wines of this region are developed in areas with cold winters and hot summers. In spring and autumn sudden temperature changes are frequent. The average annual temperature is 11 degrees Celsius.
Grape varieties used in La Miranda Secastilla Rosado
100% Grenache variety
The Pagos del Valle de Secastilla are located in the extreme northeast of Somontano and have a special “Mediterranean microclimate” ideal for growing olives, vines and almond trees. On stony slopes located above 700 meters above sea level, we have recovered very old vineyards of Garnacha Tinta and Garnacha Blanca, the traditional varieties of the Secastilla Valley. The relative altitude and its special orientation make it an area with many hours of sunshine, which favors the ripening of the fruit. All this area is dry and the soils are loamy-sandy with considerable rockiness.
