Elaboration of Naia 

Fermented 70% in stainless steel tanks and 30% in 10,000 liter french oak vats
Stainless steel tanks and four tubs of 10,000 liters of French oak are used. Aging: 100% French oak barrels of light and medium toasting. Age of barrels from 1 to 3 years and volumes of 225, 500 and 600 liters.

The winery Naia 

Bodegas Naia is installed in the town of La Seca, a term considered the Grand Cru of the DO Rueda, where some of the oldest DO vineyards are located. The purpose from the beginning was to select the oldest Verdejo vines and produce large white wines in an area with a well-proven potential for it

Denomination of origin of Naia 

The denomination of origin Rueda, is located in the provinces of Valladolid, Segovia and Ávila.
It produces grapes, Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Viura and Palomino fino.
It has 11700 hectares of vineyards and 55 wine producing wineries.
Its white wines are world famous, although red and rosé wines are also produced.

Variety of grapes used in the wine Naia 

Variety of 100% Verdejo grapes
23.5 ha. own of which 20 ha. They are from a vineyard over 40 years old in glass and 2 ha. they are from a young vineyard driven on trellises (15 years).
The rest are vineyards of viura in glass of 35 years. Bodegas Naia works closely with vine growers in the area with whom it establishes a close and continuous relationship. These vineyards have ages between 80 and 130 years.
