A pleasant, well-rounded, and easy-drinking wine.
The Batán de Salas Winery
In early 2010, DeBeroz began marketing its first wines, made from grapes grown in the family vineyards. After four generations dedicated to cultivating vineyards in the Somontano region, they decided to venture into the complex and competitive world of selling quality wines.
Subsequently, Batán de Salas S.L. was established to boost sales and provide the winery with greater stability and visibility. This led to the creation of the Batán de Salas – DeBeroz partnership, combining the winery's two main brands, which comprise its portfolio.
A collection of approximately 350 oak barrels, mostly French and no more than six years old, allows us to get the most out of our wines when they are destined for aging, whether for short periods, as in the case of Tinto Roble, or for longer periods, such as DeBeroz Crianza Especial or Lar de Beroz.

Its total area is 200,000 hectares, of which approximately 100,000 are cultivated. Of these, 4,400 hectares are dedicated exclusively to vineyards. Somontano wines are made with grape varieties from over 4,400 hectares of vineyards. These grapes form the foundation of their excellent wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Syrah, Garnacha Tinta, Moristel, Parraleta, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc, Garnacha Blanca, Riesling, and Alcañón are just some of them.
Somontano is characterized by cold winters and hot summers, with significant temperature fluctuations at the end of spring and in autumn. The average annual temperature is 11 degrees Celsius.
