Bodegas Tobía is the lifelong project of Óscar Tobía. This project began in San Asensio in 1994 with the aim of crafting distinctive, memorable, and universally appealing wines, always keeping in mind our Rioja DNA and French influence, across our three brands: Tobía, Óscar Tobía, and Alma Tobía.

From its inception, Bodegas Tobía has been characterized by a creative, innovative, and unconventional spirit. This, combined with its values ​​of honesty, creativity, dedication, and a loyal team, has defined a trajectory of over 25 years marked by numerous national and international awards and accolades. Milestones include the production of Spain's first barrel-fermented rosé, Alma Tobía, in 1996, and receiving the Internationalization Award from the Rioja Chamber of Commerce in 2002.

Since 2010, Bodegas Tobía's modern facilities have been located in Cuzcurrita del Río Tirón, in the Rioja Alta region, a privileged setting for continued innovation and growth.
