The winery Bodega Classica
The winery located in the town of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, on the banks of the Ebro river, has vineyards that are over 100 years old.
Its location is appropriate to produce good wines, since in addition to the humidity of the land provided by the proximity of the Ebro river, the Sierra de Toloño, protects you from the cold winds of the Cantabrian Sea.
Its location is exceptional for the cultivation of the vine, for having a rainy climate in winter and airy in spring and summer. It is having an ideal micro climate for the cultivation of this fruit.
The cultivation of the vine is done by glass, in soils that are usually poor, which limits the production of grapes, but significantly increases their quality.
Its harvest is carried out in the month of October, and it is all done manually.
Finally, comment that the winery has a Tourism Wine section where you can make visits to the winery with 2 types of tastings, one basic and the other one from La Rioja, where three tastings are carried out in each of them.
Custom events can also be organized.
