Montecillo Crianza, a classic, complex and balanced Rioja wine
Special features of the wine:
Elaboration of Montecillo Crianza
Selective collection and incubating by vineyards and varieties. Each varietal is made separately. Alcoholic fermentation very respectful with the grape thanks to the Ganímede technology used in Tempranillo. The other varieties ferment in steel tanks of small capacity at controlled temperature. Malolactic in underground cement tanks.
What kind of wine is Montecillo Crianza
It came with aging in American oak barrels of 1 or 2 years of age, for 18 months. After finishing its aging in wood, the mixture of the three varietals is made and the wine is bottled. Refined in bottle before its release to the market at least 6 months.
The Orborne winery
The history of Osborne dates back to the late eighteenth century, when a young English merchant, named Thomas Osborne Mann, came to Cadiz land to market the wines of the area. He soon starts doing business in Puerto de Santa María and it is in this town where he founded his own winery that, more than 200 years later, he would become the great business group that is today, of fame and international recognition.
