Silenio de Miros
Alcoholic Fermentation - Ferments for 12 days at a controlled temperature of 26°C in 17,000 l truncated cone-shaped tanks. A 52-hour cold pre-maceration in an inert atmosphere is carried out to extract fruity aromatic compounds from the grapes.
Malolactic - Aged for 45 days in new 500 and 225 liter French barrels along with its fine lees, with a gentle battonage performed twice a week.

Silencio de Miros Designation of Origin
Designation of Origin on the banks of the Duero River, 115 km long and 35 km wide.
Located in the regions of Castile and León, it extends across the provinces of Soria, Burgos, Segovia, and Valladolid.
This designation was established in 1982 and primarily produces red and rosé wines.
To qualify for this designation, the wine must be made with at least 75% Tempranillo grapes and grown in the areas covered by the designation.
Other grapes are Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Merlot, and to a lesser extent, Garnacha and Albillo.
Grape varieties used in Silencio de Miros
Made with Tinta Fina (Tempranillo) grapes from the Rafael plot. Located at an altitude of nearly 1,000 m above sea level.
Late harvest, usually in mid-October, in 12 kg boxes that spend 48 hours in a cold storage room at less than 7°C.
