Viña Caeira was born with the firm commitment to promote the Albariño grape, native to the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin.

Viña Caeira Designation of Origin

Rías Baixas is a designation of origin belonging to the region of Galicia. Specifically, it forms the coastal part of a part of Galicia, concerning the province of La Coruña, the province of Pontevedra up to the Vigo estuary.
The Albariño grape variety has been cultivated in these lands for more than 1000 years, and the existence of Albariño wines has been known since the 12th century. Bo octante is from the mid-20th century, when this variety spread throughout the territory.
In the 80s, the Regulatory Council of Rías Baixas and the Rias Baixas Designation of Origin were created.

Grape varieties used in Viña Caeira 

Made from 100% Albariño grape variety.
This grape is harvested manually in 12 kg boxes. Slow fermentation at low temperatures to preserve the aromas of the grape as much as possible.
