Nose: The nose is surprising for its powerful fruity character combined with memories of its noble aging, traces of coconut, "toffee" and suggestive nuances to scrubland. Mouth: The attack is powerful, developing a sensation of volume and unctuousness that leads to a long ending. In the aftertaste the memories return to red fruits in conjunction with notes of scrubland.

Elaboration Baron de Ley Reserva
A few minutes after being harvested by hand, Barón de Ley grapes are received in our production cellars.
Every morning our winemakers will taste all the fermentation tanks to make the right decision for each specific deposit, thus defining fermentation temperatures, type of pumping, maceration ... and completing an average of twenty different elaborations in a vintage.
What kind of wine is Baron de Ley Reserva
After a 20-month aging in new American oak barrels, it rests 24 months in the bottle.
Sensations of the wine Baron de Ley Reserva
Complex and well structured wine.
The Baron de Ley winery
In Barón de Ley, the harvest is done manually, not only in order to pamper every grape cluster, but also to value our greatest asset: the vineyard. As is logical, the fact of having the grape "at the foot of the cellar" contributes very specially to the quality of the wines, by reducing to the maximum the times of entry of the grapes to the winery during the harvest, thus avoiding unwanted fermentations during transport.
This great advantage has also allowed us to start, over the years, an ambitious manual grape selection policy. For more than a decade, the production of grapes from our best farms has been harvested in boxes with a capacity of 300 kilos and transported to our two selection tables in the cellar. There, each and every one of the bunches are visually inspected, discarding those that are not in perfect conditions and resulting in a "selection of the selection of our best farms" ... grapes of the most extraordinary quality.
