The winery Viñedos de Aldeanueva
It was founded on November 20, 1955 by a group of farmers in Aldeanueva de Ebro. Months later, around February 1956, the first statutes were drawn up and the winery was begun. Those founding members joined together in order to group themselves against the few buyers of the time who took advantage of the dispersion of offer of the winemakers of a small town.
Throughout the 60s, the winery was expanded, due to the planting of new hectares and the incorporation of new partners attracted by the boom that was taking society.
During the 70s the first bottled wines began to be produced, thus installing the first bottling plant with very manual processes. This wine is intended for the consumption of partners and customers from nearby locations.
Towards the 80s, it is committed to marketing within the Spanish market and the first bottling plant is replaced by a more productive and technologically better prepared one. At the end of this decade Bodegas San Isidro S. Coop. acquires an important part of the shares of Bodegas Berberana, becoming the majority shareholder of the group and holding the presidency.
In 1995, the participation in Bodegas Berberana was sold and a large-scale expansion and bottling project was undertaken, taking the first steps in wine aging. In these years Bodegas San Isidro is renamed Viñedos de Aldeanueva to obtain in this way a greater distinction since a large number of cooperatives were called at that time as the patron of the farmers.
Designation of origin Rueda
The DO Rueda includes the areas of Valladolid, Segovia and Ávila. It produces the Verdejo, Viura, Palomino fino and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
Its cultivation area is approximately 11,800 hectares, and it has about 60 wineries.
It has very favorable natural resources for the production of high quality wines, specifically white wine.
Its wines are world famous and are internationally recognized.
Varieties of grapes used in the Dilema Verdejo

Vineyards located 700 meters above sea level. The harvest is done at night, in order to collect the grapes at the lowest possible temperature. Next, we pass the grapes through a tubular exchanger until the temperature drops between 6 and 8ºC, in this way we can extract the aromas from the skin macerating the must for approximately twelve hours. By means of the draining method, the must is obtained with which the alcoholic fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature between 14 and 16ºC for 12 to 15 days, obtaining a very aromatic white wine with a bright and beautiful greenish color.
