Special characteristics of the wine:
Preparation of Sommos Premium
Cold maceration for 3 days. Traditional fermentation of each variety separately in French oak vats, with temperature control, fermenting at a temperature below 28ºC. Maceration with their skins for 1 5 days. The malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels. Once this is finished, we proceed to a careful selection of the best barrels and subsequent assembly.

The winery is committed to making easy-to-drink wines with a classic Somontano cut. This winery grows its own grapes with which it subsequently produces its wines.
Its vineyards are located in the Adahuesca term, at the foot of the Sierra de Guara. The Ballabriga family has cultivated their vineyards for generations.
This current winery is founded in 2000 by José Miguel Ballabriga, to create wines of a quality can.
This family winery has set itself the objective of recovering native varieties of Somontano, with flavors of the past.
One of its native grapes is the Parraleta, and this winery is making an effort to recover this grape, very extinct today, but that brings excellent quality to its wines.In the same way, they are recovering the Alcañon grape, to make white wines The cellar building is modern and functional, partially buried to facilitate aging in the barrels. They have stainless steel tanks and French and American oak barrels. The careful, almost individual selection of these barrels and their toasting is one of our main tasks to achieve unique wines.
Designation of origin of Sommos Premium
From the DO Somontano, the wines of this region are developed in areas with cold winters and hot summers. In spring and autumn, sudden temperature changes are frequent. The average annual temperature is 11 degrees Celsius.
